ABOUT US
Pokoin News makes Pokemon card signals readable.
Pokoin News is a family-safe signal desk for Pokemon news, card collector context, Pokoin marketplace activity, and broader market momentum. The site turns public headlines, marketplace movement, search interest, and social pulse into readable summaries for collectors, Pokoin users, marketplace watchers, and readers following Pokemon card demand.
Our content standards are simple: original summaries, sourced analysis where useful, clear labeling, and no adult content, hate speech, harassment, graphic material, or misleading financial promises. Market references are informational context, not investment advice.

How the score works
The main hype score is a weighted blend. Each component updates independently with fallback logic to avoid empty states when an upstream source is slow.
Input
News, social pulse, search deltas, and market snapshots.
Engine
Normalized signals, bounded scoring, anti-flat adjustments.
Output
Gauge, component cards, historical backtracking, daily stats.
Data Sources & Method
Pokoin News aggregates public data from multiple providers and computes an internal composite score. External sources can be delayed, rate-limited, or temporarily unavailable, so fallback logic and caching are used to keep the page stable.
Main live and fallback sources include:
- * Google News RSS, Reddit APIs, Pokemon official pages
- * Stooq, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Binance
- * FRED and World Bank datasets (inflation overlays)
- * PokeAPI and Pokoin marketplace APIs for Pokemon/card highlights
This site is an independent project and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokemon Company.
The site is maintained with refreshed market snapshots, card highlights, learn pages, daily statistics, and signal pages so readers can understand both current activity and longer-term context.
Privacy & Caching
Pokoin News does not require user accounts and does not ask for personal profile data.
- * Browser-side storage is used for performance (localStorage and lightweight cookies for cache hints).
- * Server-side caching refreshes data on a timed cycle and supports manual refresh via the reload control.
- * Third-party links and APIs have their own privacy/security policies.
- * This project is provided as-is, without guarantees of uninterrupted upstream availability.
